In the 1902 Sanborn Fire Insurace Atlas, there are four buildings on one lot at the southeast corner of the 100 block of North Adams, at Hamilton. They are listed as 128, 130, 132 and 134 North Adams. There is no 130 ½ shown. The four buildings are labeled as stores, each of three floors and extend southeast almost to a building at 211-215 Hamilton. Attached to the rear of 128 is a small, one-story, building shown as an ice cream factory.

 

This property is now part of the Caterpillar World Headquarters office building.

 

There is a history of the upper floors of 128-134 being rented as furnished rooms, with these examples;

There was another Hotel Peoria, aka Peoria Hotel, located at 822 North Adams, from about 1916 to about 1920, with different owners. The following hotel did not advertise in any PCD that is online.
